ABOUT​
The Psalms is a work in which I intervene the texts of The Book of the Psalms (text of Hebrew poetry). I erase the words leaving only punctuation marks (periods, commas, exclamation marks, question marks, parentheses, scripts, etc.), signs that are the rhythm of the text. From this ¨edition¨, I symbolically re-signified the content of the texts.
Some words were left in the process of random erasure and a new textual poem was then formed in the correlation of them.
The result is a visual poem that I then translate into sound pieces giving each sign a specific sound.

Live performance set where the Voice, the Noise and the Techno intervene.
Reading live The Psalms granting each symbol a pre-defined sound that will be emitted with the voice. These sounds are recorded live generating a loop, overlapping the readings as the set progresses. It also records the reading of the textual poem that was created with the words left to chance.
Going through the Set, sounds of the genre Noise pre-producing by SparkPunk synthesizer are incorporated with the intention of reaching a musical structure based on the Techno genre, giving a live set operated by an Electribe and a computer with Ableton Live.
